Melancholia
At times, mostly in the winter, I struggle with a deep sense of melancholia. I have trouble focusing, I usually have too much to do, and therefore I do nothing. This work is me connecting with how I feel being a mom who is trying to do everything, but I feel Iām missing moments I will never get back. These diptychs connect a moment with an image, visually illustrating my feelings of melancholia.
